I attended a one-day workshop presented by Chuck Schwan and Bea McGarvey on their recent book: Inevitable: Mass Customized Learning – Learning in the Age of Empowerment. It was an interesting day and fun to be among like-minded educators thinking about possible reforms in education – ones that actually make sense. In the book and during the workshop, the presenters shared a very interesting vision for education. After we watched this video, I wondered what kind of response it would get from (1) parents; (2) students; and (3) teachers.

You can view two short interviews with the writers on their Mass Customized Learning YouTube channel. Visit the Mass Customized Learning web site to learn more.
I am looking forward to more conversations about the possibilities of such a vision in our schools.
