Hey Randy, love this idea. Can’t wait to listen. Quick note, the link in the email for this post must have an error. It’s returning a 404 not found error message. Second, love this quote from your ebook: “The traditional notion of leadership – people with titles – is no longer valid. For digital transformations to be successful, leadership must be developed and distributed at all levels of the
system – district, school board, building, teacher and student.” It’s so right on!

Thanks, Charlie! I appreciate you reading the blog and ebook, always providing valuable feedback. Much appreciated! The error came probably because I reposted, taking the original post down. I’m switching email notification systems, I think I transferred the original list of subscribers, but if you didn’t also get an email that contained the web site logo, then consider adding your email in the upper right corner. Thanks again for your support and sharing this work out! Have a great day!

About Working At The Edge:

My name is Randy Ziegenfuss, and I'm a retired public school superintendent and a life-long educator with over 34 years experience developing a passion for teaching, learning, leadership and technology. <read more...>

I first came across the phrase working at the edge while learning about the work of Marzano, et al. School Leadership That Works: From Research to Results. In this work, the researchers define 21 responsibilities of the school leader, one being change agent. A change agent is defined as one who is, "...willing to challenge school practices that have been in place for a long time and promoting the value of working at the edge of one's competence."
